City Of Irving Announces Nightly Curfew

Demonstrators were out again across North Texas for the third day in a row, but last night's protests for the most part, remained peaceful.

Dallas remains under curfew a mandatory morning after days of violent protests following the death of George Floyd.

The city of Irving has also implemented a curfew.

Irving officials announced a curfew Sunday evening that will run daily from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.​

The curfew in Irving applies to the Las Colinas area, Downtown Irving, areas along Highway 183 near the Irving Mall and along 635-LBJ west of the President George Bush Turnpike.

Highland Park, University Park say they've adopted the same 7 p.m.-6 a.m. curfew after consulting with City of Dallas. Irving has adopted a curfew that runs from 10 p.m.-6 a.m. Here's a map of their curfew areas. Live report at 6:03 on @KRLD. pic.twitter.com/euLWw2DFgE
