The College Football Playoff (CFP) Foundation and Cotton Bowl Foundation are honoring teachers, in conjunction with the BIG DAY, with a $50,000 grant to Catch Up & Read and a $50,000 grant to Urban Teachers.

It's all a part of BIG DAY (Monday, September 14, 2020), the largest single-day effort of community impact ever undertaken by college football.

More than 150 partners across the country are expected to participate, including universities, conferences, bowl games, high schools, and corporate and educational organizations.

By the end of the day more than $4 million in grants, direct aid and desperately needed resources are slated to be awarded to teachers and educators.

KRLD's John Liddle talked with Britton Banowski, the executive director of the College Football Playoff Foundation about BIG DAY.
