CVS Health Announces Zero Co-Pay For Coronavirus Concerns

With the threat of coronavirus on the minds of patients, CVS Health has announced a new, zero co-pay policy on telemedicine visits for its Aetna customers.

The option allows patients to speak to a physician online or through an app, rather than actually going to the doctors office to seek care, risking co-contamination.

Dr. Britt Berrett is a clinical professor and program director of B.S. Health Management at the Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas.  Also a former top executive at Texas Health Presbyterian Dallas and at Medical City, Dr. Berrett believes we will begin to see more of this.He says while telemedicine wont stop coronovirus or any virus for that matter, it will help diminish its spread.Here is the entire interview with KRLDs Chris Sommer.
