DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Over strenuous objections from many in Preston Hollow, the Dallas City Council has okayed a plan to allow more high-rises in the affluent enclave that his home to some of the wealthiest families in North Texas.

Neighbors have tried to stop the plan for two years, fearing even worse traffic around Northwest Highway and Preston Road.

New zoning will allow towers of up to 240 feet which is more than 20 stories.
