
Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins reported a record of 36 new deaths in a single day, and 704 new positive coronavirus cases on Wednesday.
"Today’s 36 deaths is a new single day reporting record and is a somber reminder of the seriousness of this outbreak" said Judge Jenkins on social media. "We must continue the spirit of sacrifice for the community good that has led people to forgo unnecessary trips, stay home as much as possible."
Over 1,800 children under the age of 18 have gotten the virus since July 1st and 38 have been hospitalized.
