DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - As Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins surveys the response to the Coronavirus, he sees a field of shortages.

Everything from masks and gloves to test kits and hospital beds seem to be in short supply.

But if the virus spins out-of-hand, the biggest shortage of all might be in the supply of medical professionals.

Judge Jenkins is pleading with retired nurses and doctors, saying the region and the nation needs them to return to the field during these days of crisis.

Jenkins also says that, behind the scenes, the search is on for thousands of additional hospital beds.
