After being closed for 5 months the Dallas Museum of Art and the Dallas Holocaust Museum reopen today.

The art museum could have reopened back in May, but decided to wait and talk with other museums about ways to reopen safely.

KC Hurst with the Dallas Art Museum tells NBC 5 the museum will only be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.

Crowds will be limited at the DMA to 200 people - who can visit for 2 hours. General admission is free but you will need a reservation.

The Dallas Holocaust Museum will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 10am to 5pm. The crowd will be limited to 25% capacity and people are encouraged to purchase their tickets online.
