DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - A former medical executive from Dallas has been sentenced to federal prison for money laundering.

A federal judge has sentence 55-year old Semyon Narasov to more than six years in lockup for a kickback and money laundering scheme.

Narasov was involved with NextHealth and the Forest Park Medical Center.

Narasov and his partner allegedly referred patients to Forest Park for kickbacks. Over at NextHealth, the men falsified insurance forms and also made the false referrals.

The men even created a shell company to hide their trail.

In 2018, Narasov pleaded guilty, admitting he and his partner had pocketed almost $200,000 for the scheme.
