Mother Of Atatiana Jefferson Found Dead In Fort Worth Home

FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - The mother of Atatiana Jefferson has died in her home Fort Worth home morning.

This is the the same home were Jefferson was shot and killed by a Fort Worth police officer in October. Former Fort Worth Officer Aaron Dean has been indicted in her murder. 

Medstar says they got a medical call to the home this morning, and the Jefferson family attorney says Yolanda Carr pased away. 

Atatiana Jefferson was taking her of her sick mom when she was shot and killed.  

Carr’s death not only comes in the heels of Atatiana’s death, but it also comes weeks after her father, Marquis, suffered a fatal heart attack.

We just learned Yolanda Carr, the mother of #AtatianaJefferson, passed away in her home early Thursday morning.
