This afternoon, a group of parents is planning to rally at the Plano ISD headquarters.
They say they want face-to-face learning for their kids ... and they want it soon.
The district is planning to begin virtual classes on August 12th and in-person classes on September 9th, but according to new guidance from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, school officials don't have to wait that long to get kids back in the classroom.
The protesters say they say they should have the option to let their kids attend in-person class or virtual class, and they want the district to give them the choice.
The rally will kick off today at 4:30 and will run until 6 p.m.
