WACO (1080 KRLD) - Pete Sessions, the former US House District 24 Congressman, is now in a run-off for District 17 which includes his hometown of Waco.

Two years ago, Sessions lost his seat, defeated by Colin Allred.

Last night, Sessions received 32 percent of the District 17 GOP vote. He'll be in a run-off with Waco healthcare executive Renee Swann who finished second with 19 percent.

The outgoing incumbent, Republican Bill Flores, endorsed Swann.
