The pandemic is behind Southwest Airlines making some scheduling adjustments at Love Field.
The airline is adding flights in, and out, of Dallas Love Field for the next month, and then will subtract flights starting September 6th.
Legal filings say the Dallas-based carrier is making the changes because of the COVID-19 and some of the safety precautions that it has to impose.
For instance, Southwest says it has flights that have fewer passengers on board because of distancing on the plane. And to accommodate passengers, it's adding flights to cities like Denver, Atlanta and St. Louis.
The airline is expecting a drop off in business and will subtract flights next month.
