The obituary of an east Texas man who died from the coronavirus blamed Government officials for inaction and said karma will "find you all" for refusing to wear masks.
78-year-old David W. Nagy of Jefferson, Texas died on July 22nd from complications of COVID-19. His obituary, published in the local newspaper, has gone viral for it's blame of local, state and national politicians for their handling of the pandemic.
“Family members believe David’s death was needless,” his obituary reads. “They blame his death and the deaths of all other innocent people, on (President) Trump, (Governor) Abbott and all of the other politicians who did not take this pandemic seriously and were more concerned with their popularity and votes than lives."
The writer of Nagy's obit adds blame for his death to “the many ignorant, self-centered and selfish people who refused to follow the advice of the medical professionals, believing their ‘right’ not to wear a mask was more important than killing innocent people.”
Nagy was born in Salt Lake City, spent most of his life in California, and retired to east Texas.
A statement from the family declared that Nagy did everything he was supposed to do, "but you did not" when it came to protecting others from the possible spread of the deadly virus that claimed his life.
"Shame on all of you, and may karma find all of you" the obit said.
