Consulting 'Dr. Google': A Good Or Bad Idea?

If you're not feeling well, it's quick and easy to type a few keystrokes for a rapid diagnosis of your symptoms from "Dr. Google."  

But taking your medical concerns to the web - instead of a trained health care professional - can be a slippery slope.  The information that appears on your screen can be downright terrifying, not to mention highly inaccurate.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, many doctors report a rise in "cyberchondria," or a fear generated by worrying the situation is much worse than it actually is because of something patients read on the internet.
