On Thursday night, President Donald Trump accepted his party's nomination for a second term.
The president closed out the Republican National Convention with a 70-minute address from the lawn of the White House.
The speech was followed by a fireworks display over the National Mall.
President Trump hammered the policies of Democratic opponent Joe Biden in the address, continuing the "law and order" theme heard from many GOP speakers throughout the four-day virtual convention.
On Friday, UNT political science professor Dr. Kimi King joined the KRLD Morning News with analysis of the president's speech, and a look ahead to the November election.
