Mavericks to open 2020-21 season in Phoenix


DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Mavericks will begin their quest for their second championship in franchise history with a visit to the desert.

The NBA announced that the Mavs will open the 2020-21 season in Phoenix against Chris Paul, Devin Booker and the Suns at 9:30p on Dec. 23.

The game will be broadcasted to a national television audience on ESPN.

The league also confirmed that the Mavs will face the Lakers at 7p on Christmas night. That game will also be broadcasted on national television by ESPN and ABC.

The league has yet to release the full schedule. But the first half of the schedule is expected to be released in the coming days.
