Report: Airlines want COVID testing instead of travel bans

Airline and business groups say the U.S., state governments and some foreign countries should replace quarantines and travel bans on airline passengers with COVID-19 testing of travelers before departure and upon arrival. They say the move would boost  international air travel, which is down 78% year-over-year for the most recent seven-day period. The groups say “travel quarantines are decimating our industry.”

A new bill proposed by a handful of Senate Democrats aims to make discrimination in the banking industry explicitly illegal for the first time, bridging a gap that left the financial services industry out of 1964 Civil Rights Act discrimination laws.  The bill would prohibit banks from discriminating based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation
