A toddler has been shot and killed in Kaufman County where the Sheriff's Office is still asking a lot of questions today.
The Kaufman County Sheriff's Office says they are investigating a reported "accidental" shooting inside a Forney-area home in the Windmill Farms sub-division that left a one-year-old child dead and another injured.
The call came in just after 5 p.m., to a home in the Windmill Farms neighborhood just outside Forney.
A one-year-old little girl was pronounced dead at the scene and her nine-year-old brother was transported to Children's Medical Center in Dallas with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say other children were at the residence at the time of the shooting and are being questioned.
