Fort Worth police are investigating after several shootings over the weekend.
One man has died in a northwest Fort Worth shooting overnight. It happened near a neighborhood grocery store on Homan a couple of blocks off Jacksboro Highway. Police found a man already dead inside a car parked in front of Homan Grocery. Later on, another man showed up at the hospital saying he'd been shot outside the same market. He's reported to be in serious condition. There are a lot of questions about who did the shooting and police are not speculating about why, either.
In a separate incident, a Fort Worth man died from a gunshot wound suffered Sunday evening. Police were called to an emergency clinic on Western Center Boulevard near North Beach. The caller said a seriously wounded man had been brought in by another man who claimed he had shot Cameron Burk accidentally. Burk died less than a half hour later. He turned 18 just last month. Police have not said whether they have arrested the man who admitted to firing the fatal shot.
And a killer is on the loose in Fort Worth where a man was shot to death Sunday afternoon. Just before 4 p.m. there was gunfire at an address on East Arlington a few blocks east of I-35. Police got there to find a man already dead. Detectives don't know who shot him or why.
