Four Louisiana People Killed In Plane Crash In Leon County

The NTSB will be investigating yesterday's deadly plane crash near Hilltop Lakes, about mid-way between Dallas and Houston.

Just before 11 a.m. Sunday, a single engine plane with four people aboard crashed while apparently trying for an emergency landing at Hilltop Lakes Airport.

All four people -- two Louisiana couples, according to investigators -- were killed on impact.

The plane was flying from Marble Falls to Natchitoches Regional Airport in northwest Louisiana and had reached 18,000 feet when it apparently developed engine problems and began a descent toward Hilltop Lakes.
