Two people attacked at two convenience stores in Dallas

Dallas Police are looking for the attackers following a shooting and a stabbing at two convenience stores in Dallas.

Just after midnight, one person was stabbed at the 7-Eleven store on Ross Avenue near Hwy 75 Central Expressway in east Dallas. That victim was taken to the hospital.

About the same time there was a robbery a couple of miles away at another 7-Eleven on Lemmon Avenue near Wycliff in Oak Lawn. A clerk was shot and he, too, was taken to the hospital.

No conditions have been released for either of the victims.

Police cannot say if the attacks are related but since they were so close together in time and location that is one theory they're working on.
