Fort Worth man dies after being shot, police say his neighbor shot him

A Fort Worth man who was shot while driving outside his home last night has died, police say.

The man was in his car, driving away from his home on McGown Avenue in northwest Fort Worth, when another man opened fire and shot him.

Officer Daniel Segura with Fort Worth police says it appears the two men had been arguing.

"Apparently before the victim drove away from the location, there was a dispute," Officer Segura says. "Some of the initial details say that they were neighbors."

After he was shot, the victim crashed his car into a street sign. That’s where police found him. He was rushed to the hospital, where he died around 5 a.m.

Police are talking with witnesses, trying to determine who the suspect is. No arrests have been made at this time.
