Candy company is offering $30 an hour to eat and review sweets

This may be the sweetest way to earn some extra cash.

A candy company is looking hiring someone with a sweet tooth to taste and review their treats for $30 an hour.

The sweet gig will require “candyologists” to sample candy and chocolate products, and then provide Candy Funhouse with a review, according to a Fox Business report.

Candy Funhouse, located in Ontario, Canada, currently carries 3,000 products. Job candidates will play an integral role in helping to select 10 new, original candies for the first ever Candy Funhouse-branded line.

The candyologists must “taste samples objectively” and “consider aspects of taste, texture, and quality,” as stated in the online job posting.

The new hires will then be required to follow the company’s in-house rating system to write a brief review of the product. All reviews have a chance of appearing in Funhouse’s marketing materials.

“Candidates should have enthusiasm and eagerness to try confectionary products. We are looking for honest and objective opinions on the products that will be taste tested,” the company stated on its website.

The job is available to anyone in the U.S. or Canada who is over the age of 18 and has a high school diploma.

The role is available in a part-time and full-time position. Full-time candy tasters will be required to attend in-person taste testing, and part-time employees will be sent product samples remotely.

Don’t wait too long to submit your resume. The last day to apply is February 15th.

"Our knowledge, experience, and passion for candy are the perfect ingredients to providing a memorable candy experience," the company says. "We are the candy experts, sweet times live here!"
