Pilots push back against American Airlines plans to re-start 737 Max training by november

FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD)- American Airlines is scheduling pilots for simulator training in the cockpit of the Boeing 737 Max, puzzling the pilots who says the feds have given no hint when the ground jets might get the okay to fly again.

The pilots say American has told them to be ready to get in the simulators by early November.

The Max has been grounded since two deadly crashes last year. American Airlines pilots are represented by the Allied Pilots Association which is concerned the airline is rushing to get the plane ready to fly before the FAA has even approved new training procedures for the Max.
