Monday's 7-Day Forecast: Rain Today, T.S Beta Discussion

TS Beta continues to slowly move to the west at 6 miles per hour. Projected landfall will be near Port O'Connor late this evening. Anywhere between 1' to 2' or rain is forecast for the mid and upper Texas coast over the next 72 hours, as Beta slowly drifts west and then eventually northeast through the period.

DFW will see bands of rain later today and tomorrow with high temperatures in the 70s. Anywhere between 1" to 3" of rain will fall through Tuesday evening.

Our weather improves Wednesday and especially Thursday and Friday with highs back in the 80s. Rinse and repeat for Saturday.

Our next weather change arrives late Saturday into Sunday morning, as a cold fornt moves though the area. There MAY be some rain along the front, but its too far out to accurately predict. Slightly cooler/drier air will filter in behind the front on Sunday and Monday.
