Its a chilly start this morning, so a light jacket will be necessary if you're heading out to walk the dog.
I'm keeping an eye on an area of clouds that is rapidly heading our direction. They are currently moving into Austin in College Station and heading North towards North Texas.
Its to early to tell if these clouds will invade all of DFW. Some data has them mid cities -> east all day, other data has them covering areas all the way out towards 35W. If the latter of the two scenarios occur, temperatures will have a hard time getting above 70ﾟplus, factoring in the 30 mph wind gusts from the south, there will be a little bit of a chill in the air all day long.
I'm not expecting any 'measurable' precipitation with these clouds, however, there could be some areas of light drizzle
This being said, if you are heading to the Alliance Air Show, it may be a good idea to layer up and wear jeans. You can always take a layer or 2 off, if the sun comes out for an extended period of time. If this is the case, temperatures will jump up into the mid to upper seventies. A very tricky forecast today.
Tomorrow is rather easy, afternoon highs will jump up into the low maybe mid eighties out west of Fort Worth. By late afternoon and evening, a cold front will sag into the area, cooling temperatures off into Sunday night.
Monday is another tricky forecast due to the progression of the cold front. Right now, I'm sticking with my forecast from last week and keeping temperatures in the sixties all day long. Your silly weather apps may call for highs in the seventies on Monday. Either way, it will be a bit cooler Monday and possibly even into Tuesday until this front lifts back to the north.
Our next cooldown arrives by Friday, as another stronger cold front comes to the area. We may even see some showers and thunderstorms with this front. Stay tuned!
Enjoy the weather, it's the only whether you've got!
