We are all waking up to cool morning across north Texas, as temperatures have fallen into the upper fifties to low sixties! Still not out of the question that some of you may experience some patchy dense fog, especially in rural areas through 9am.
Out west of us in Mineral Wells, visibility has dropped to a quarter of a mile so be exrta careful if you'll be heading out of town any direction, you might run in to some areas of dense fog.

OK you summer lovers… you are going to love the weather today through the weekend... as temperatures warm into the mid to upper eighties! Some areas might even touch and 90゚ out west of I-35W on Sunday!

Shifting weather gears, now I'm talking to all of you fall lovers! A very strong cold front will plow through here around midnight Sunday or early Monday morning. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop along the front as it pushes through before daybreak.

Right now, the best chance for rain will be along and east of interstate 35W. Gusty wind, lightning and brief heavy rain will be the threats. Nothing to severe.

You will definitely know when the front comes through, wind will shift to the northwest with gusts as high as 35mph.
Temperatures go from 80゚ at midnight to 60゚ by daybreak, and only warming into the low 70s by afternoon. Hold on to your hats!

With dry air pushing into the area from the northern and central plains states, temperatures will tumble into the fifties for Tuesday morning with highs only in the middle seventies. We might hit 80゚ on Tuesday but a reinforcing shot of dry air will arrive into Wednesday keeping temperatures a good 8 to 10゚ below normal (84) for Wednesday and Thursday. Morning lows will continue to be in the fifties.

Summary: Looks like a spectacular DRY fall weather week ahead for all of north Texas…you're welcome! 🙂🍁🦃

Have a spectacular weekend and stay cool, hydrated, and safe!
