Matt Healy Shares What The 1975's New Album Will Sound Like

The 1975

Matt Healy from The 1975 sits down in the KROQ Absolut Almost Acoustic Christmas igloo with Nicole Alvarez.

Matt touches on how releasing back to back albums gives you a loss of of finality because you get addicted to the routine of work, release and wait for reaction. He says the most important thing about quickly adapting to fame is to continue to be honest, he states,"if you don't lie you don't have to think about what you have to say."

With a change in sound with songs like "People" influenced by the band members growing up with punk influences, Matt reveals the new album has country vibes and huge channeling of guitar rock. What vibe do you want to hear from the next album?
