The wildfire burning near the Corona airport in Riverside County has now burned 500 acres and is zero percent contained.

No structures have been damaged there so far, and evacuation warnings that were issued for some neighborhoods last night have now been canceled. Cal Fire spokesman Rob Roseen tells KNX there are currently no evacuations in effect.

The 71 in the area is closed but the 91 freeway remains open and Roseen tells us there will likely remain the case. Meanwhile, crews continue to fight a wildfire in the Hemet area that has grown to 200 acres and is 10 percent contained. There are some evacuation orders in effect on that fire.

Corona Fire Department was reporting Tuesday afternoon that the fire is 25 acres and 15 percent contained.
