Candace Cameron Bure says she can't wait to be a 'hot grandma' after son's engagement

Candace Cameron Bure is planning for her new role.

The “Full House” actress revealed that she’s stoked to be the “best mother-in-law” and eventually, “the hot grandma” after her son, Lev, got engaged in August.

“We will love them unconditionally,” Bure told Us Weekly referring to her 20-year-old son and his fiancée, Taylor Hutchison.

“We will want to be a part of [their] lives, want to be a part of the grandkids’ lives. I don’t want to do anything to rock the boat. I just want to be there to support,” she added.

The 44-year-old added:. “I can’t wait until the day I do become a grandma, whether that’s a few years or five years or 10, whatever, I love children.”

Cameron Bure and husband Valeri Bure, 46, are also parents to Natasha, 22, and Maksim, 18.

The actress, who is best known for the role of DJ Tanner on the '90s sitcom, shared her son’s exciting news on Instagram writing, “She said YES. Last night my son @levvbure proposed to his beautiful girlfriend. We are SO excited for these cuties!!! #Engaged! And this mama/mama-in-love can’t wait for wedding planning shenanigans.”

In another post from Lev and Taylor’s engagement dinner, Cameron Bure reiterated her desire to be the best "mother-in-love" she could hope for. “I’ll only get annoying when it comes to my time with future grandbabies,” she added.

The mother-of-three was also 20-years-old when she married her husband in 1996. She has credited turning to faith for her long-lasting marriage.

“The reality is, the glue for us is Jesus,” she said in a previous interview. “It’s the Bible. You know, when there are arguments or we’re compromising, it’s always like, ‘Well, let’s just go back to the Bible.’ It’s the foundation for us. So it’s not about winning or losing, but doing this journey together.”
