Courteney Cox recreates 'Friends' dance with raw turkey on her head for Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving, we’re thankful for Courteney Cox.

The actress embraced the spirit of Thanksgiving by recreating a now-viral moment from “Friends.”

Cox channeled her inner-Monica Geller to recreate the dance that she did for Matthew Perry’s character, Chandler Bing, in the 1998 holiday episode, “The One with All the Thanksgivings.”

In the original clip, she shimmied while wearing a raw turkey with sunglasses on her head.

“Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. Hope you’re having a great day,” she began in her Instagram message, which quickly picked up a tone of annoyance.

“I’m feeling so thankful, and also, if I get one more go---mn gif with that turkey on my head dancing like a f------ fool, I’m just gonna snap!” she added.

The video then pans to the iconic scene from the show before looping back to Cox, who quips: “So anyhow, since I’m the symbol of Thanksgiving, here you go. Hope it makes you happy.”

Cox is not only wearing a green top just like in the episode, but she’s also sporting the raw turkey on her head, complete with sunglasses and everything!

Fans and fellow celebrities alike were overjoyed at the nostalgic callback.

Co-star Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe Buffay, cheered Cox on, writing: “You DID THAT!”

“Will and Grace” actor Sean Hayes commented: “Haha! Love it. Love you.”
Reese Witherspoon, who guest-starred as Jennifer Aniston’s sister in a few episodes, added, “Love you, sister!”

And soccer star David Beckham said that the video “just made my day.”

Perry, as Bing, was mum, but that’s understandable as he announced his engagement during the Thanksgiving holiday to longtime girlfriend Molly Hurwitz.

“I decided to get engaged," the 51-year-old told PEOPLE. "Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time.”

As for those craving more “Friends” nostalgia this holiday season, you can attempt to make Rachel’s infamous “trifle” or use up leftovers to make Ross Geller’s (David Schwimmer) “moist maker.”

Earlier this month, Perry revealed the highly-anticipated sitcom reunion was being rescheduled to March 2021 due to COVID.
