
As delicious as bacon is, it is full of saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium. The good news is there are a lot of bacon substitutes including carrot bacon! If you are trying to incorporate more healthy snacks into your diet, this one may be worth a shot. Simply slice carrots into strips and use an air fryer or oven to dry them. Ingredients include maple syrup, garlic and onion powder, paprika and liquid smoke. The thin strips are crunchy and the taste is similar to bacon. A nice healthy treat in an instant!
