San Jose Sharks star hockey player Evander Kane and the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas no longer have court dates together.

District court records posted online show the Cosmopolitan dropped its five-month-long court battle with Kane on April 2.  The hotel accused Kane of not paying back half a million dollars in gambling markers issued to him in April 2019.

The court records say the case was marked "voluntary dismissal with prejudice", which means the matter is over and will not return to court.
