1 October Memorial Committee to Meet on Wednesday

Southern Nevada came together Thursday morning to remember the victims of the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting on the 3rd anniversary of the event.

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - Clark County’s 1 October Memorial Committee will meet at on Wednesday morning at 9 using a virtual format due to current COVID-19 health and safety practices that are in place. The Clark County Government Center is closed to the public in addition to most County buildings to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 in accordance with the governor’s emergency directives.

The public is encouraged to watch Wednesday’s meeting live on Clark County Television (CCTV), online at www.youtube.com/user/ClarkCountyNV/live, or the committee’s Facebook page @1OctoberMemorial. 

The meeting agenda is posted online at www.ClarkCountyNV.gov/1OctoberMemorial.

Committee members and County staff will host the meeting on WebEx, which is accessible by computer and telephone. Those wishing to offer comment will be muted until they are invited to join the meeting during public comment periods

Anyone impacted by the 1 October attack is invited to participate in the process of developing a memorial whether you live in the Las Vegas Valley or outside our community. Committee meetings are held at 9 a.m. on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
