This year’s sculpture is “East Meets West at the Pennsylvania Farm Show,” featuring the state’s most popular pro-sports mascots — Philadelphia Flyers’ Gritty, Philadelphia Eagles’ Swoop, and Pittsburgh Steelers’ Steely McBeam — all carved from 1,000 pounds of butter.
Presenting the 2020 #PAFarmShow Butter Sculpture! This year’s sculpture features three of Pennsylvania’s beloved pro-sports mascots: -- Philadelphia Flyers’ Gritty -- Philadelphia Eagles’ Swoop -- Pittsburgh Steelers’ Steely McBeam And they’re all united at a tailgate celebration through dairy! The half-ton sculpture encourages Pennsylvanians to be a fan of Pennsylvania dairy and give a cheer to the more than 6,200 dairy farmers of the commonwealth. The 2020 sculpture will be on display in the Main Hall through Saturday, January 11. After the show, the butter, originally scrap butter, will be moved to a farm in Juniata County where it will be converted into renewable energy in a methane digester. #PAFS2020 #ButterSculpture2020

The butter sculpture is on display in the Farm Show’s Main Hall. Following the Farm Show, the butter will be moved to the Reinford Farm in Juniata County to be converted into renewable energy in the farm’s methane digester.
The 2020 show runs Jan. 4 to 11 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, except Sunday, Jan. 5, when it runs 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, Jan. 11, when it opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m.
Admission is free. There is a $15 parking fee at all Farm Show Complex-operated lots.
