CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Spring is here, and with that comes spring flavors hopping into Dunkin'.

Dunkin' has chosen to turn to one of Easter's most iconic treats to celebrate spring this year.

Beginning April 1, Dunkin' will feature Peeps in its menu items, including Peeps Marshmallow-flavored coffee and espresso drinks and a Peeps donut topped with a yellow chick.

"Dunkin's PEEPS Donut brings an extra bit of sweetness to spring with white icing, a special green and egg-shaped sprinkle blend and a mini yellow PEEPS marshmallow chick on top," the company said in a statement. "New PEEPS Marshmallow Flavored Coffee brings the delightful, creamy taste of classic PEEPS marshmallow to Dunkin's hot and iced coffee, espresso drinks, frozen coffee and frozen chocolate. And, although it's egg-hunting season, fans of both Dunkin' and PEEPS won't need to look too hard for these new items, as both will be offered at participating Dunkin' restaurants nationwide for a limited time and while supplies last."

And if that is not exciting enough, in celebration of the flavor launch, Peeps and Dunkin' are hitting the road to surprise fans with free coffee and donuts.

From April 2 to 4, Dunkin's "custom-sculpted coffee car" and a "Peepsmobile" will travel to a total of six Dunkin' locations. The route starts in Peeps' hometown of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and ends in Dunkin's birthplace: Quincy, Massachusetts.

In addition to the new Peeps flavor, Dunkin' is also launching other new menu items for spring, including a new Chocolate Cherry Cold Brew, the new Sweet Sriracha Bacon Breakfast Sandwich, and Iced Tea Lemonade and Frozen Lemonade.

All new spring menu items are available beginning April 1 at participating Dunkin' restaurants nationwide for a limited time.

So if you want to try any of these, you better hop to it!
