PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — July Fourth is a time for fireworks, group celebrations and barbecue, but this year, the pandemic has made it quite different.

Certainly, we should try to enjoy the holiday as much as possible, but social distancing and wearing masks must be a priority.

In addition to that, if you are going to grill, you need to be very careful.

One excellent option is the use of paper plates, plastic cups, and disposable.

I know it is annoying to constantly be thinking of this virus, but we can't let our guard down.

It’s important this Fourth of July that we have fireworks exploding and not new COVID-19 cases.
