PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — In many ways, sports is a microcosm of society.

The Miami Marlins now have players who have tested positive for COVID-19, which means other players on the team should wait at least five days to make sure they are quarantined and are not spreading the virus to others.

What about players who played against the team? Do they need to quarantine? Do the players travel together?

Think about the domino effect. We’re dealing with a situation where we have to be safe, and if you want to be safe, how long do you wait until you resume playing again?
