PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — We all need meaning and purpose in our lives, and studies have shown it's something that can be important at all stages.

Having a purpose has long been known to lengthen retirees' lives, but it's critical for young adults and those who were still working to find a sense of meaning, as it increases longevity at any age.
