The event is usually a daylong, in-person event, but because of the pandemic, 146 students are expected to attend the Zoom call for new fall students instead.
Marlene Barlow, director of admissions, said the event will include a student panel, staff from the testing center and experts on transfers, which Barlow said is a hot topic.
Meanwhile, La Salle University is seeing the same phenomenon.
"They would rather, even if there is an option to be on campus in the fall, they want to make sure they are not too far. What if someone falls ill, if the campus has to close again because there is another wave of infections,” said vice president of student affairs and enrollment Dawn Soufleris.
