
Cosby has been in prison since September, serving a three- to 10-year sentence following a conviction on aggravated indecent assault charges. In a motion filed with Superior Court, his attorneys argue the 81-year-old is blind and is not a danger to the community. And they claim bail is reasonable, because the Montgomery County judge who oversaw his trial is taking too long to file an opinion on Cosby’s appeal.

One year ago, Friday, Cosby was found guilty by a Montgomery County jury of drugging and molesting former Temple University employee Andrea Constand at his Elkins Park home back in 2004.
