Johnny Bobbitt was transferred Monday from Philadelphia to Mount Holly, where he faced a Superior Court judge. The prosecutor's office says the 35-year-old was ordered held on a bench warrant issued earlier this month after he skipped out on a hearing.
Bobbitt is scheduled to appear in Drug Court on Feb. 22.
He, along with Mark D'Amico and Katelyn McClure, are charged with fraud in what prosecutors say was a fabricated feel-good story.
More than $400,000 in donations poured in after the couple claimed Bobbitt gave his last $20 to help McClure when she was stranded in Philadelphia.
