PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio)  In Germantown, one teen’s car wash business is growing.

Jabre Dutton has big dreams and a bright imagination, not to mention a thriving car detailing business — Jabre’s Car Cleaning Service.

“Jabre always had that entrepreneurship bottled up inside of him,” said his mother, Sabrina Dutton.

The 11-year-old’s business became official when his mom suggested that instead of washing cars for Robux — a virtual video game currency — that he should turn those robux into real money.

So they posted on Facebook and Instagram, letting Germantown neighbors know that JCCS was open for business, and it blew up, and they were booked for weeks.

“I saw this as a chance to help a young man to start off his new business and to get my car cleaned out. Very conveniently,” said neighbor and client Casanda Gunkle.

Jabre Dutton and his mother say they couldn’t do it without the community’s support.
