Meek Mill lost $200K betting on the Warriors in the NBA Finals

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) -- While Drake got the most attention as a visible cheerleader for his hometown Toronto Raptors throughout the NBA Finals, he wasn't the only famous rapper with a vested interest in Thursday night's Game 6.

Philadelphia native and Sixers fan Meek Mill, on May 30, put out a challenge on Twitter for "any of y’all rich guys from Toronto" to name their price and he would match the bet.

I’m betting whatever on the series if any of y’all rich guys from Toronto believe in y’all team against the warriors!!!!! ----------------

Fast forward to June 8. Mill responded to a tweet asking him who he thought would win the series with, "I bet a big bag on the Warriors lol."

A video posted to Instagram by one of Mill's lady friends shows the two hanging out, and her letting us know just how big that bag was....

"Yeah, I still know my bro, you see him. $200,000 down," she's heard saying in the video. "He good. Easy. Super Easy."

There's no word on who took Meek Mill up on his bet, but it appears whoever it was made an "easy" $200,000 for picking Toronto to win the series.
