PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — It's called Luminature, and it's a massive light show at the Philadelphia Zoo with 12 separate zones, including northern lights that take place in front of the duck pond, and a 35-foot talking polar bear. There are projections, music and colorful lights showcasing the magnificence and diversity of our planet.

Molly and Vincent Striken of East Falls were impressed with the presentation.

For the record, the bear is indeed built from recycled car doors.

There is also a lighted 25-foot pink tree made from flamingo lawn ornaments, and 200 colorful penguins are also on display. Dozens upon dozens of trees are also illuminated for the holidays in this $3.5 million light show.
