Police: 3 teens injured in separate shootings

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Three teens were shot hours apart in different Philadelphia neighborhoods between Monday evening and early Tuesday morning.

Around 6 p.m. Monday in Mayfair, an 18-year-old woman was shot in the leg, along Hegerman Street, after an argument with a group of people.  

Northeast detectives are investigating and looking for two men.

Shortly thereafter in Logan, around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, a 14-year-old girl was shot in the hand and an 18-year-old man was struck in the foot, near Belfield and Windrim avenues.

They said they heard fireworks, but then realized they were shot and went to the hospital.

Northwest detectives are also investigating.
