More results trickle in a week after Pennsylvania primary election

In Bucks County’s 1st Congressional District, incumbent Republican Brian Fitzpatrick easily held off a challenge from Andy Meehan. Fitzpatrick will face Democrat Christina Finello as she got 78% of the votes, about 50,000 more than Skylar Hurwitz.

In the 5th Congressional District, which is Delaware County and South Philadelphia, Dasha Pruett won the primary and will face incumbent Democrat Mary Gay Scanlon in the fall.

East Norriton supervisor Amanda Cappelletti knocked off incumbent and longtime state Sen. Daylin Leach. Cappelletti will face Republican Ellen Fisher.

Carolyn Comitta won a three-way primary for the Democratic nomination for retiring state Sen. Andy Dinniman’s Chester County seat and will face Republican Kevin Runey in the fall.

The remaining ballots are being counted from last week’s primary.
