Target recalls Cat & Jack toddler boots due to choking hazard

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Target is recalling a pair of toddler boots from its Cat & Jack line due to a possible choking hazard.

About 33,600 Cat & Jack Unicorn "Chiara" Boots have been recalled after reports of the unicorn horn detaching from the shoe.

Four consumers reported the choking hazard. No injuries have been reported, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The recalled boots — which are white with silver shimmer — range in size from 5 to 13 and size 1.

The recalled model numbers begin with TARGET0930156XX, where XX corresponds to a specific sized boot.

The boots were sold at Target stores nationwide and online, and on Google Express for $27, ranging between October and November of 2018.

Customers can return the shoes for a full refund.
