You have less than a week to finalize Thanksgiving dinner plans, and if it snuck up on you (again) this year, you still have a couple options. Several restaurants and caterers are taking orders for pre-made meals and fixings, available for pickup either the day of or before turkey day.
If that is still too daunting for you, consider making a reservation at select Philadelphia-area restaurants — savor the meal without the mess.
When you’ve settled on an agenda, stroll through the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market, which opens for the season on Saturday. The winter wonderland has more than 45 Philly artisans, crafters and confectionaries that offer handcrafted gifts and holiday foods.
You can get the thought of food off the brain — though why would you want to? — by watching fit people tackle the Philadelphia Marathon and several other associated races.
