With so much happening in sports these days, Dave Uram rarely sleeps so he can bring you every important story, highlight, and locker room comment in his morning reports on KYW Newsradio.
Uram hit the KYW airwaves for the first time in February 2013 and joined the early-bird crew in December 2016. His first gig in radio was as a WIP Sportsradio intern in May 2009, working a variety of shows — most notably, Angelo Cataldi and The Morning Team. At WIP, he worked his way up to producer and eventually convinced someone to put him on the air in several roles, whether as an anchor or fill-in host. In addition to his time spent on 94 WIP, Uram has anchored sports reports on Entercom’s WFAN and 1010 WINS. He still does so on WINS on Saturday mornings.
Previous radio jobs include working behind the scenes for The Michael Smerconish Program and on-air at WBCB-AM in Levittown, Pennsylvania. He briefly helped produce the return of the television program “The Great Sports Debate” and was a copy editor at The Courier-Post in Cherry Hill.
Uram graduated from Ithaca College. He grew up in Abington and lives in Philadelphia.
